Description:
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the artistic production of the second half of the 20th century as well as the current state of artistic and the broader cultural production, through a series of lectures and seminar papers, This applies both to global as well as Croatian art. The objective of the course is to acquaint students with the relevant literature that systematizes and interprets this period. Furthermore, the aim of the course is to refer students to additional literature necessary for understanding and completing particular educational units and to broaden their knowledge of them. In order to achieve direct with artistic work and to get deeper insights into it, the goal of the course is to organize a form of fieldwork teaching as well (held in museums, galleries and public urban spaces).
