Description:
- Learning about basic theoretical approaches of sociology of work.
- Understanding the relation between general sociology and sociology of work.
- Becoming competent to recognize and discuss basic processes and phenomena at contemporary labor market.
- Awaking the knowledge about gender segregation at division of labor in contemporary society.

8. Basic aspects of organizational environment and culture (2+2)

10. Socio-psychological aspects of unemployment; youth and unemployment (2+2)

Learning outcomes:
  1. Understanding the relations between general sociology and sociology of work.
  2. Interpreting the transformation of work in the networked society.
  3. Explaining the development of sociology of work.
  4. Understanding the role of production, scientifically-technical and cultural-humanistic work aspects
  5. Recognizing the concepts of process, content and character of work.
  6. Interpreting problems/ causes/ consequences of unemployment
  7. Realizing the existence of work segregation in the society.
  8. Describing the impact of contemporary technology (computers) on the position of people in work process.
  9. Distinguishing intrinsic and extrinsic work values.
  10. Noticing socio-psychological aspects of unemployment.
