Our researchers have participated in a number of international research projects, such as:

International mobility of students is important not only for improving their foreign language skills and their cultural enrichment, but also for their personal development, such as the spirit of independence, self confidence, as well as tolerance, readiness for work in multicultural environments, and as such is a necessary preparation for the European work market.

Being aware that diplomas issued by our Institution provide access to educational professions (primary education teachers, pre-school educators and various subject teachers in elementary and high schools) which are regulated by Croatian national laws , we take particular attention concerning the transparency of qualifications that our students obtain upon the completion of study programme, and therefore we support the international mobility of students within ERASMUS, CEEPUS and other programmes. The excellent results that our students obtain during their mobility (for studies and/or professional practice abroad) best testify to the quality and international recognition of our study programmes.

Please note that the language of tuition in most of our study programmes is Croatian. The exceptions are study programmes at our Department of English Language and Literature, where the language of tuition is English and Department of Italian Language and Literature, where the language of tuition is Italian. In all other departments, the language of tuition is Croatian. For visiting students (ERASMUS, CEEPUS etc.) many of our professors are willing to provide consultations and literature in English, some in German, Italian and French as well. Please note that most of our study programmes are double degree programmes. The students enrolling a double degree programme must choose any two of the offered study programmes. with the exception of Sociology, Teacher Education and Pre-School Education which are single major programmes.
