Education Day at the School of Tourism and Hospitality – Participation of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split (14 November 2025)

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split participated in the Education Day held at the School of Tourism and Hospitality. During the event, various departments and study programmes of the Faculty were presented. The programmes were introduced by Sociology students, Assistant Professor Toni Popović, PhD, and Assistant Professor Mirela Müller, PhD, together with students from the Department of German Language and Literature.

The pupils had the opportunity to learn about the wide range of study programmes, activities, and opportunities offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. They particularly appreciated the chance to speak directly with current students, who shared their experiences first-hand.

Find out everything you would like to know about the Erasmus+ international student mobility programme!

Mariam Lagundaridze, a student from Georgia currently undertaking an Erasmus traineeship at the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility, will hold regular consultation sessions for all interested students until the end of the winter semester. The consultations will take place on the ground floor of the Faculty building (next to the Student Affairs Office) according to the following schedule:

Mondays and Tuesdays: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Wednesdays and Thursdays: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Today, the Department of German Language and Literature welcomed Ms. Mag. Marina Christoph, Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Zagreb.

As part of her visit, Ms. Christoph met with the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Marijana Erstić, as well as with students of German Language and Literature.

The Head of the Department expressed her gratitude to the guest for the valuable donation of books, emphasizing the importance of such support for the Department's work and the education of its students.
