Study programme:	University undergraduate study programme in English Language and Literature (double major)	University graduate study programme in English Studies
General information on the study programme:	The university undergraduate study programme in English Language and Literature (double major) combines fundamental knowledge of linguistics and literature in English with the development of advanced language and communication skills. During their studies, students acquire the ability to critically analyse and interpret various texts and cultural content in English, while also developing skills for well-argued oral and written expression. Upon graduation, bachelors are qualified for positions in linguistic mediation within the business sector, public administration, culture, and tourism, as well as for work in the media, publishing, and other fields that require an excellent command of the English language and highly developed communication competence. This study programme can be combined with any other double-major programme at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split. The programme is comparable to similar English language and literature studies in the Republic of Croatia and European Union countries, enabling student mobility and the continuation of education at other universities both at home and abroad.	The university graduate study programme in English Studies educates humanities professionals with advanced competencies in the English language, literature, and applied linguistics. The programme enables students to acquire specialized knowledge through three distinct tracks: - Teaching Track (double-major): prepares graduates for work in primary and secondary schools, as well as in foreign language schools; - Translation Track (double-major): qualifies graduates for all forms of oral and written translation and interpreting; - Research Track (single-major): prepares graduates for doctoral studies and scientific research in institutions dedicated to language and literary studies.

Application and Enrolment Requirements:	Detailed information about admission to the study programme is available at the following links: Postani student FFST - upisi	Candidates who have completed a university undergraduate double-major study programme in English Language and Literature and have earned at least 180 ECTS credits are eligible to apply for admission to the university graduate study programme. The call for applications is published by the University of Split during the summer semester of the current academic year for the following academic year.
Further study opportunities:	Upon completion of the university undergraduate double-major study programme in English Language and Literature, students may continue their education by enrolling in a graduate study programme at this Faculty or at other universities in Croatia or abroad. Admission requirements and the recognition of ECTS credits may vary and are regulated according to the study programmes and policies of individual higher education institutions. The university graduate study programme in English Studies educates humanities professionals with advanced competencies in the English language, literature, and applied linguistics. The programme enables students to acquire specialized knowledge through three distinct tracks:

- Translation Track (double-major): qualifies graduates for all forms of oral and written translation and interpreting;
