Psychology students Nika Vuco, Ivana Peris, Katarina Šimić, and Tea Grotić participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled "Psychological Tools Review", organized by WSB Merito University in Wrocław, Poland. The programme was held from 18 to 22 May 2026 through an on-site mobility component in Wrocław, followed by a virtual component on 28 and 29 May 2026.

Fourth-Year Psychology Student Barbara Ćaćić Presents Research Poster at the International WCRI 2026 Conference

Fourth-year psychology student Barbara Ćaćić presented her research poster at the prestigious 9th World Conference on Research Integrity (WCRI 2026), held from May 3 to 6, 2026, in Vancouver, Canada.

The poster, titled “The Effectiveness of Different Psychological E-mail Framings on Data Sharing: A Randomized Controlled Trial”, explores the topic of research data sharing within academia, with a particular emphasis on open science, transparency, and research integrity.

The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the challenges and practices surrounding data accessibility in scientific research. It also highlights important questions related to responsibility, ethical conduct, and transparency in the research process.

Participation in WCRI 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to present student research in an international academic environment, exchange ideas with researchers from around the world, and further develop professional expertise in the fields of research ethics and integrity.

We warmly congratulate Barbara on this significant achievement and wish her continued success in her academic and professional journey.

PSYCHOLOGY STUDENT CREATIVE EXPRESSION WORKSHOP

Recently, our students Sofia Soto Vrandečić and Barbara Trlaja led a creative expression workshop, introducing participants to creativity as both a psychological process and a form of personal expression.

Through hands-on work with clay, participants explored movement, touch, and sensory awareness in a relaxed and supportive environment. The workshop combined experiential learning with reflection, encouraging individuals to connect with their inner experiences in a non-verbal way.

Designed for educational and experiential purposes, the session highlighted how creative processes can foster self-awareness and provide a meaningful outlet for emotional expression.

We warmly congratulate our colleagues on their initiative and contribution to student-led learning.

General information on the study programme:	The Bachelor's University Study Programme in Psychology is delivered in English and is fully aligned with the European Certificate in Psychology (EuroPsy) standards developed by the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA). During their studies, students learn about various psychological disciplines and theoretical approaches, acquire research methodology skills, and gain foundational knowledge of scientific disciplines that intersect with psychology (e.g., philosophy, anthropology, sociology).As the proposed programme follows contemporary principles of psychological research and practice, graduates are expected to successfully enter the labour market and/or continue their education at higher levels.	The Master's University Study Programme in Psychology is delivered in English and is designed to provide students with theoretical and methodological knowledge in both fundamental and applied areas of psychology, as well as to develop specific professional and transferable skills necessary for psychological practice and scientific research.In addition to being taught in English, a distinctive feature of this programme is the extensive practical training component. Students undertake professional practice throughout the entire third semester of the programme, either within or outside the Republic of Croatia, amounting to a total workload of 270 hours (30 ECTS credits) in the fields of clinical, educational, and organizational psychology.In line with the broad range of professional activities, psychologists are employed in both the private and public sectors, particularly in education, healthcare, social welfare, work and organizational settings, employment and career guidance, business and industry, the judiciary, the military, police services, sports, transport, tourism, marketing, and environmental protection.

Further study opportunities:	Upon completion of the Bachelor's University Study Programme in Psychology, students may continue their education by enrolling in the Master's University Study Programme at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split or in another graduate programme at universities in Croatia or abroad, subject to any additional course or credit requirements arising from differences between programmes, as prescribed by university and/or faculty regulations.	Upon completion of the Master's University Study Programme in Psychology, students may pursue further education at the postgraduate level in Croatia and/or within the European Union. As Croatia is a member of the EU and the programme complies with the standards of the European Certificate in Psychology (EuroPsy), graduates may continue their education through postgraduate studies in psychology as well as related social science or interdisciplinary programmes.
