About the Journal

Aims and scope

Školski vjesnik: Journal of Pedagogic Theory and Practice is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. Journal publishes scientific papers. The main aim of the Journal is to improve pedagogical theory and practice and contribute to the development and study of broader topics in the field of education.  Papers in the journal are published in Croatian and English language.

Školski vjesnik publishes academic papers which have not been previously published or submitted to other publications at the same time. Papers presented at a conference, which are not to be published in conference proceedings, may also be considered.

History

Školski vjesnik: Journal of Pedagogic Theory and Practice has been published continuously since 1951, first under the title Bulletin, and since 1952 under its current name. In the first decade, it was published in the form of a newspaper, receiving its current form in 1962. The journal is published twice a year, in print (ISSN 0037-654X) and electronic form (ISSN 1848-0756).
