Description:
Students are introduced to the global political, social and cultural processes of the 20th century since 1945 to the fall of the Berlin Wall. The accent is placed on the geopolitical consequences of World War II, the ečergence of a divided and bipolar World, the evolutions, effects and crises of Cold War. A particular attention is also paid to the other key phenomena and events of the period, like Decolonisation and the rise of the Third World, the beginnings of the West European integration and the Middle East question.
