Description:
Corse objectives
To familiarise students with the theoretical approaches in parenting, the major models of parenting within developmental psychology, individual factors that determine parenthood, the consequences of the various determinants of parenting on child development, parenting in specific contexts (inability to become parent, nonbiological or adoptive parenting, parenting in adolescence, parenting a child with developmental disabilities). The specific objective of the course refers to exploring the role of parents in the context of preschool institutions.
