Description:
The aim of the course is to train students for the preparation and implementation of the teaching of mathematics in primary school teaching, and to develop the skills of successful teaching at the theoretical and practical level. Students have to know the contents of mathematics, and qualitatively analyze them from professional (mathematical) and methodological point of view; analyze and study selected parts of mathematics; develop the skill of critical attitude towards the mathematics contents; introduce and critically analyze current mathematics textbooks; acquainted environment in which to teach math; develop the ability to analyze, synthesize, and evaluation of teaching analysis of exemplary lectures; encourage and develop creativity and independence in planning and realization of mathematics lessons; develop the ability to apply the acquired knowledge and maintenance of simulated lessons; trained for critical analysis and evaluation of their own and others' teaching; develop in students the preference and interest in mathematics; develop the desire and the need for lifelong learning and training in the pedagogy of mathematics.
