The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split announces the Call for student enrollment in the 2026/2027 academic year. 

THE PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION TO UNDERGRADUATE STUDY PROGRAMME

The procedure of applications to Undergraduate Study Programme Psychology takes place via the National IT System of Applications to Higher Education Institutions (NISpVU), which can be accessed via the website http://www.postani-student.hr . THE PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION TO GRADUATE STUDY PROGRAMME
In order to apply for the Graduate Study Program Psychology, an applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (minimum of 180 ECTS credits).
Application for a Graduate Study includes:

• certificate or diploma of the completed undergraduate university study,
• official transcript of records or diploma supplement,
• curriculum with course descriptions,
• certificate of recognition for foreign qualifications (if the applicants completed their studies outside the Republic of Croatia)
• proof of English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Admissions are held in September in accordance with the published call for applications.

ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT

Candidates for admission to the Undergraduate Study Program Psychology MUST complete an application for an additional assessment. 

In addition to applying through the NISpVU system, applicants are also required to submit their application for the additional assessment directly to the Faculty.
A valid application includes a completed APPLICATION FORM and two attachments (certificate of English language proficiency and payment confirmation). Payment information can be found in the Application Form. Only candidates who submitted their application on time will be able to access the additional assessment. Candidates will receive an invitation for the online test to the email specified in the Application Form. Candidates who have taken the online test will subsequently receive an invitation for an online interview.

In addition to applying through the NISpVU system, candidates are also required to submit their application for the additional assessment directly to the Faculty between June 1 and June 19, 2026, by sending it online to the following email address:

The additional assessment consists of two parts, both conducted online, aimed at evaluating the abilities, motivation, and skills necessary for the study program.

The assessment will take place from June 29 until July 3, 2026, according to an invitation that will be sent to the candidate’s email address.

The additional assessment in the autumn term will be held only if the enrollment quota is not filled during the summer admission period. All information regarding applications and the implementation of the additional assessment in the autumn term will be announced later on the Faculty's website (www.ffst.unist.hr).

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR QUALIFICATIONS

The recognition of foreign secondary school qualifications for admission to undergraduate studies in the Republic of Croatia is carried out through the Agency for Science and Higher Education, following the procedure described here.

The recognition of foreign higher education qualifications for admission to graduate (master’s) studies is conducted in accordance with the University of Split's Regulations on the Academic Recognition of Foreign Higher Education Qualifications and Periods of Study, through the procedure described here.

ENROLMENT

All applicants who have secured a place within the enrolment quota and confirmed their intention to enrol must complete their enrolment in person at the Student Affairs Office between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

• Summer enrolment period: 16–17 July 2026

Applicants admitted within the enrolment quota for the Psychology study programme are required to pay the full annual tuition fee of EUR 6,000.00 at the time of enrolment.

Required documents for enrolment in all Faculty study programmes:

1. Enrolment application form (download here).

2. The original proof of payment of the tuition fee of EUR 6,000.00, paid to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, using the following bank details: IBAN: HR5124070001100571320, Model: HR00, Reference number: HR00 43004-0-student's Croatian Personal Identification Number (OIB), BIC (SWIFT): OTPVHR2X (for payments from abroad), Payment description: Tuition fee 
   Note: For international students who do not yet have a Croatian Personal Identification Number (OIB), the reference number should be: HR00 43004-0.

3. One colour passport-sized photograph (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm). Please write your full name on the back of the photograph.
4. A photocopy of a valid identity card (certification not required), together with the original for verification. Applicants who do not possess a valid identity card must submit a certificate of residence instead.
5. Original birth certificate or an electronic extract from the national civil registry issued through the e-Građani (e-Citizens) system.

6. Proof of permanent residence status.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Applicants who are entitled to priority admission based on their status as a person from the alternative care system or single-parent status must submit proof of the relevant status to the Faculty no later than 6 July 2026.
