The principal objectives of the course are to provide a firm grounding in the theories and methods of cognitive anthropology.
The course also aims to develop transferable skills, including communication (through seminar presentations and discussions) and research (by preparing essays and a research dissertation).
It highlights how cognitive linguistics can contribute to a better understanding of cultural and social phenomena.
