In 2006, she graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, earning the title of Teacher of Italian and English language and literature.

During her studies, she was awarded three scholarships for one-month study stays in Italy to further develop her proficiency in the Italian language and culture. At the same Faculty, she completed the Postgraduate Specialist Studies in Conference Interpreting in 2007 (working languages: Croatian, English, and Italian) and the Postgraduate Doctoral Studies in Linguistics in 2018. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled A Corpus-Based Analysis of English Phrasal Verbs in Legal Domain under the supervision of Associate Professor Irena Zovko Dinković, PhD. In her dissertation, she conducted a linguistic and translation-oriented analysis of phrasal verbs using corpora consisting of source texts and translations of selected European Union and Croatian legislative texts.

From 2003 to 2007, she worked as a teacher of English and Italian at three foreign language schools in Zagreb. From 2007 to 2012, she taught Business English and Italian at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM). Between 2012 and 2018, first as an external associate (for one semester) and subsequently as a teaching assistant, she taught compulsory courses in the theory and practice of translation and interpreting on the MA programme in English Studies (Translation track) at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. From 2019 to 2020, she worked as a teacher of English and Italian at the Gata, Tugare, and Dubrava branch schools of the “1 October 1942” Primary School in Čišla. Since 2020, she has held a permanent position as senior language instructor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. She teaches courses focused on developing communication and translation/ mediation skills, as well as competencies in the use of contemporary translation and language technologies, with the aim of familiarising students with current trends in the translation and language industry. From 2020 to 2022, she also taught courses English for Specific Purposes I-III on the dislocated undergraduate programme in Hospitality and Gastronomy at the University of Split in Makarska.

In her teaching practice, she regularly organises guest lectures by alumni of the Department and professionals whose expertise is related to the content of the courses she teaches.

She is the contact person for the European Parliament’s Connecting with Academia project (DGT, Multilingualism and External Relations Unit).

Alongside her teaching activities, she is actively engaged in translation and interpreting. Among other works, she has translated several specialist books.

Her research interests include translation and language industry market analysis, the development and application of translation and language technologies, and the education of future translators and linguistic and intercultural mediators.

She continuously pursues professional development through attendance at and participation in international summer schools (the International Translation Technologies Summer School (TransTech 2013), the International Summer School on Digital Linguistics (DigiLing 2019), and the International Terminology Summer School (TSS 2025)), as well as numerous workshops and seminars in her areas of interest, with the aim of expanding her expertise and innovating teaching content.
