Dr Toni Maglica is a social pedagogue who earned both his master's degree and PhD from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zagreb. Throughout his professional development, he has completed numerous specialised training programs and professional development courses in the field of child and adolescent mental health. A substantial part of his professional career has been dedicated to direct work with children and adolescents exhibiting behavioural difficulties and mental health challenges, as well as providing support to their families. He gained extensive practical experience while working at the Maestral Children's Home in Split and the MoSt Association in Split. Since 2017, he has been employed at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where he teaches across several study programmes. His professional and research interests focus on behavioural problems and their prevention, child and adolescent mental health, parenting, and the influence of the family environment on children's development and well-being. He is the author and co-author of a university book and numerous scientific and professional publications in national and international journals and edited volumes. He regularly presents his work at national and international scientific and professional conferences. In addition to his academic and professional activities, he is actively engaged in various forms of community and social initiatives aimed at promoting the well-being of children, young people, and families.
