Description:

Acquiring basic concepts and terms pertaining to the theory and history of literature with a particular emphasis upon the English-speaking countries. Acquainting the students with representative authors and works of children's literature. Enabling the students to understand and interpret the literary text, particularly in the function of its application in the early ESL classroom.

- -develop the ability to critically evaluate a literary text
- -competently present a literary text from the corpus of children's literature
