The course with its philosophical content and method provides an insight to the meaning of the basic ethical concepts, understanding of ethical theory (its meaning and types) and gain an insight into some of the current ethical problems.

1. Recognize the philosophical assumptions of the pedagogical research orientations and the pedagogical views presented by the authors in their original texts
2. Uncover the philosophical assumptions of pedagogical theory and practical pedagogy
3. Recognize the ideological influences on education
4. Use the plurality of ethical theories and problems in building a civil society and critically discuss ethical theories and issues
5. Critically discuss ethical theories and issues
