BEYOND ASSESSMENT: 
R E T H I N K I N G   E V A L U A T I O N   A N D   G R A D I N G   I N   H I G H E R   E D U C A T I O N  L A N G U A G E  T E A C H I N G

21st-23rd May 2026

This staff week aims to bring together colleagues who are rethinking assessment practices in response to evolving pedagogical demands, increasing diversity in student populations, and the growing role of digital tools. We will explore approaches that support learning, promote transparency and fairness, and strengthen student engagement across different institutional contexts.

No participation fee; participants cover their own travel, accommodation, and meals. Funding may be sought through Erasmus+ STT or STA, depending on institutional eligibility.

Application deadline: 15 February 2025

Participants are invited to apply with a short abstract for a talk or workshop related to assessment in higher-education foreign-language teaching.
Applications without a presentation proposal are also welcome, though priority will be given to selected presenters. For full details and the application form, please follow this link.
