Memorial service for professor emeritus Ivan Mimica (1931-2022)

Memorial service for our beloved professor emeritus Ivan Mimica took place January 18, 2023, at 12.00, in the ground-level hall. 

Professor Ivan Mimica was born in a small fisherman village of Mimice near Omiš in 1931. He spent his professional career as a prominent philologist and educator, passing on his extensive knowledge in methodology to countless generations of students.

Prof. Mimica's impressive academic career was briefly addressed by his friends and colleagues: Faculty dean Gloria Vickov, professors emeriti Joško Božanić and Josip Milat, and deputy head of the Department of Croatian Language and Literature, Lucijana Armanda Šundov.
