I was born on January 6, 1989, in Split, and I am a Croatian citizen, I actively use English in speech and writing, and possess a passive knowledge of German. I graduated from the Second Gymnasium (Language High School) in Split, and earned my Master's degree from the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, on July 18, 2012. On March 29, 2019, I defended my doctoral dissertation titled "Sex-specific Morphological and Motor Differences in Motor Skills of Eleven-year-old Students" at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split, thereby obtaining the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Sciences, in the scientific field of Kinesiology (Scientist Identification Number: 366012). By decision of the Scientific Field Committee for Social Sciences – field of Pedagogy, Speech Therapy, Educational-Rehabilitation Sciences, and Kinesiology, at its 15th session held on October 11, 2019, I was elected to the scientific rank of Research Associate in the scientific area of Social Sciences – field of Kinesiology.

Since December 1, 2017, I have been employed at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, Department of Teacher Education. I initially held the associate rank and position of Teaching and Research Assistant in the scientific area of Social Sciences, scientific field of Kinesiology, branch of Kinesiological Education, on a full-time, fixed-term basis. Since December 1, 2023, I have been working in the rank of Senior Assistant (Postdoctoral Researcher) on a full-time, fixed-term basis in the scientific area of Social Sciences, field of Kinesiology. I participate in teaching courses within Kinesiological Methodology.

I am a recipient of an award from the Croatian Kinesiology Association as the most successful student in all forms of professional and pedagogical practice for the academic year 2011/2012. In addition, I was awarded prizes by the Croatian Kinesiology Association for the best scientific paper in the field of education at the 24th (2015) and 26th (2017) Summer Schools of Kinesiologists of the Republic of Croatia in Poreč. I also received a Certificate of Commendation from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split for outstanding success in the university graduate study of kinesiology and for the exemplary fulfillment of all other obligations during my studies. I passed all courses in kinesiological education during my studies with the highest grade (Excellent).

Since 2018, I have been a member of the Association of Croatian Kinesiology Methodologists. Since 2021, I have served as the Editorial Secretary for the journal Školski vjesnik: Journal for Pedagogical Theory and Practice, which features an international editorial board and international peer review.
