Marko Jakić was born on July 21, 1984 in Split (Croatia). He completed his studies in philosophy and sociology at the University of Zadar, where he graduated with a degree in "The Categorical Imperative of Immanuel Kant". He enrolled in doctoral studies in philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb, and received his doctorate on the topic "The Ethical Foundation of John Rawls' Theory of Justice". He worked as a title assistant at the Department of Philosophy, University of Zadar. He is now employed as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy, University of Split. He is the author of book „Liberty, Justice and Democracy in Philosophy of John Rawls”, and number of scientific and expert papers.
