Description:
|
The students get to know Italian phonologic system as well as a part of Italian
morphology (articles, nouns, adjectives, pronouns and prepositions) in order
to consolidate basic orthographic rules and perform morphologic analysis of
those parts of speech. Also the course aims to develop and practice skills of
speaking, listening, reading, writing and translating.

Learning outcomes:
|
- read correctly texts in Italian and write on dictation (orthography)
- define phonological features (elision, troncamento, rafforzamento sintattico)
- recognize different types of accents and their position in word (stressed syllables)
- classify words as part of speech (articles, nouns, adjectives and pronouns)
- perform conversion of noun group from singular into plural and from masculine into feminine
- use strong and weak form of personal pronouns, combined pronouns as well as pronominal particles ci, ne and lo
- apply the new notions in written and oral communication and in translating simple texts from Croatian into Italian
- recognize and define parts of speech in a text - grammatical analysis
