Irina Boban has been working as a lecturer at the Department of German Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split since 2019.                                                                                                                                                                                            In 2013, she graduated from the University of Zadar and obtained the academic titles of Master of Education in German Language and Literature and Master of Education in French Language and Literature. She grew up in Germany and has lived in Split since 2004. During her professional work, she conducted extensive research on contemporary spoken language in Germany, which further deepened her interest in linguistic topics. Since 2014, she has worked in primary schools in Split, and since 2019 she has also been employed as a lecturer at the Department of German Language and Literature, teaching the courses Language Practice 1–6 in the undergraduate program, as well as Written Communication and Oral Communication in the graduate program. She has also participated in consecutive interpreting assignments alongside her regular work.
