Ivana Batarelo Kokić, PhD, is a Full Professor with tenure. Over the past 28 years, she has worked at several academic and research institutions in Croatia and abroad. She has been a lecturer at Arizona State University, a research associate at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, and an assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Pedagogy, Library Science, and Socio-Humanistic Informatics at the University of Zagreb, and completed her master’s and doctoral studies in educational technology and curriculum at Arizona State University. She has worked as a principal investigator, consultant, and research partner on projects funded by the World Bank, the OECD, and the European Commission. Her research interests include education policy, inclusive education, the impact of technology on teaching and learning, and teacher professional development. She teaches courses in these areas and is the author of more than 70 scholarly publications.
