Mia Mijaljica graduated in Art Education and Fine Arts from the Arts Academy of the University of Split, where she obtained the academic degree of Master of Education in Art Education and Fine Arts in 2018. She is currently a PhD candidate in the postgraduate doctoral programme in Humanities at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split. Her academic and professional interests include art pedagogy, didactics, and arts education. Since 2023, she has been employed as a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, within the Department of Early and Preschool Education. She has participated in art-pedagogical projects carried out in collaboration with educational and cultural institutions and has exhibited her artwork in group exhibitions. She is the co-author of several scientific papers and a monograph. She actively participates in professional and scientific conferences and is engaged in research and professional work in the fields of art pedagogy, visual culture, and arts education.
