Description:
|
This program is designed to enable gaining knowledge about European and national art history of the 20th century. During the course, changes in architecture, painting, sculpture and other branches of the visual arts at the beginning of the 20th century will be demonstrated. The question of synthesis of art and life will particularly be analyzed. Throughout the course program, students will be instructed on the use of scientific and professional literature, how to recognize important features and phenomena in art and, especially, to observe the relationship between Croatian and European Modern art, both in their unison and differences.
