Associate Professor Suzana Tomaš, PhD, graduated in 1998 from the Teacher Education Study Programme at the University of Split, earned her Master’s degree in Pedagogy in 2007 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and in 2015 defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of evaluation of e-learning systems in primary education. After working in primary schools and collaborating with the Department of Teacher Education at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, she has been employed at the same faculty since 2009. Her scientific and professional interests focus on the application of information and communication technology in education, e-learning, digital competences, and the design and evaluation of teaching materials in e-learning systems. She has participated as a researcher in national and international projects, including AC&NL Tutor, Enhancing Adaptive Courseware based on Natural Language Processing, and e-University. In her teaching work, she teaches courses related to digital technology and e-learning, has introduced several new courses, and has supervised graduate and final theses. Since the academic year 2023/2024, she has served as Head of the CIRCO Centre at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split. She has published scientific and professional papers, a university textbook, presented at international conferences, reviewed papers, and participated in science popularisation activities.
