Historical grammar of Italian language

Students become acquainted with the basic terminology of historical grammar and with the genesis of the Italian phonetics, morphology, syntax and lexis following their development form the Vulgar Latin through the Old Italian to the modern Italian language. An overview of the genesis of the Italian grammar will help improve students' understanding of the modern Italian language.
