The main objective is to introduce students to the concept of the quality of translation and the differences in the evaluation of translation within the academic institutions and professional circles. Students are introduced to the wider scope of translation theories and criticism and are thus enabled to adopt critical competences in comparative and value analysis of their own and other people's translations.
