1. Acquiring basic natural and mathematical literacy in order to ensure quality communication with preschool children.
2. In natural science part of the course focus is on knowledge of natural phenomena and laws of nature, the characteristics of animate and inanimate nature, with special emphasis on the development of environmental awareness and developing research capabilities with the use of natural science methods.
3. In mathematical part of the course the students learn about basic mathematical concepts necessary to communicate with children of preschool age.
