Abstract:

The European School Education Platform (ESEP) serves as a hub forinteraction, collaboration, and networking among educational professionals,aiming to increase the quality of education across Europe. A study conducted inCroatia involved a sample of 174 participants. An online structured questionnairewas designed for the research. The primary objective was to examine theknowledge, experiences, and attitudes of educational professionals in preschools,primary, and secondary schools in Croatia regarding the ESEP and eTwinningprojects. Data analysis revealed that over half of the respondents were familiarwith the ESEP, whereas a significant majority demonstrated substantial knowledgeof eTwinning projects, regardless of the type of educational institution in whichthey worked. Findings related to the evaluation scale of eTwinners’ experiencesindicate considerable variability in their experiences. Globalization trendsand the demands of modern life present numerous challenges for educationalprofessionals, necessitating their commitment to lifelong learning, with aparticular focus on enhancing communication and digital skills.
